ATCORE and Tigerbay support Thomas Cook Children's Charity

On Your Bike!

To celebrate Thomas Cook’s 175th anniversary this year, the Thomas Cook Children’s Charity teamed up with professional cycling event organisers Ride25 to launch its Peterborough to Paris cycling challenge 2016.

As sponsors, an ATCORE team of Dave Cruickshank, Neil Morris, Carl Morgan, Geoff Gomez and Manjit Chana valiantly flew the flag for ATCORE and Tigerbay on day one of the challenge, battling the weather, technical and physical challenges, to complete the 65 mile course from Peterborough to Bletchley – or 70 miles including the scenic route aka wrong turns!

A saddle weary Dave Cruickshank, ATCORE CEO, commented:

“It was a long but really enjoyable day and we were delighted to take part and support Thomas Cook in such a worthy cause.”

Carl Morgan, Tigerbay MD, added:

“It was my perfect day – a great cycle route, fantastic company, amazing food – and all for a really good cause."

The Thomas Cook Children’s Charity, Thomas Cook’s very own grant making charity, was set up with the aim of improving children’s lives, both here in the UK and overseas.  Funds raised are donated to good causes focused on helping to improve access to and facilities for education, well-being and health care.
